List any gas coupons here that you know of that anybody can easily pick up and where they can be used:

I'll list 2 I use off the web:
1) 7 cents off per gallon at Shoreview Diagnostic Center available on
valpak.com (Saint Paul area)
2) 4 cents off per gallon at freedomvalu.com

Obviously besides being accepted at these stations themselves, I have found that Rainbow, Kicks 66, and PDQ also accept these. Even Holiday has been accepting them lately! Wonder if the threat of having gas buddy legal experts check into Holiday's advertised policy of accepting ALL competitors had anything to do with it? :)

Here is a periodic update of coupons courtesy of Click n Print Savings:

10¢ off/gal., 30 gal. max, expires 4/30/15
10¢ off/gal., 20 gal. max, 4-pack, expires 4/30/15
15¢ off/gal. w/ premium wash and 30¢ off/gal. w/ ultimate wash, 15 gal. max, expires 5/15/15

The Valpak coupon for Saturday and Sunday discounts is still posted with an expiration of 4/10/15, so we will likely see an update for that coupon in the next two weeks.

Thank you DI & all those that post coupons so those of us "lurkers" like myself can take advantage! That is a TREMENDOUS generous amount of time you guys take in posting these coupons!! YOU ROCK!! thank you again from us all!!! now go enjoy the weather!! :)

I also want to break up the negativity and give my sincere thanks to the contributors of this thread. Thanks to your work on finding the 20 cent coupons back before December that I always used on Tuesdays and now the 15 cent on Sundays, I haven't paid over $2/gal in months. Without this thread I would probably just be using the 5 and 7 cent Holiday coupons. Thank you very much!!! It is appreciated.

I must have forgotten, does SA have a policy of a 10¢ coupon maximum now? Glad I didn't know that and apparently neither did the cashier at the SA where I used the Sunday 15¢ one on Feb. 16 (see below).

I believe it depends upon the station and the cashier. I've had other coupons turned down at that same station, although for different reasons.

What would really be good to know is where to be able to use the higher discount w/ wash coupons, w/o getting a wash, whether or not the station has a car wash. But again, I expect that it varies.

Thanks again sniemic and DI.

OlimB asks, "Is SA honoring the 15 cent coupon on Sunday from other competitors? I'm sure someone on here knows."

I'm sure a lot of us can report on our experiences. I know the SuperAmerica stations at 1930 Douglas Dr & Duluth St in Golden Valley and 15805 61st Ave N & Vicksburg Ln N in Plymouth will honor the 15-cent verbiage. However, the SA at 6955 Market St near Louisiana Ave in Golden Valley will only redeem it for 10 cents/gal. I recommend calling before you go. That's what I do whenever I am plan to use a coupon worth more than 10 cents/gal.

I took sniemic's advice and used the Sunday Only 15¢ coupon. The older man behind the counter said, "Why don't you save the big one for Tuesday?" I asked if they'd honor it b/c it said "Sunday Only". He hadn't noticed that. I might have gotten away with using it on Tuesday but I'm sure it depends upon who is behind the counter. I also said that I'd heard that gas prices were going up tomorrow (Monday). He agreed and said he expected to see $2.29. That station was at $2.19 when I was there. We'll see. DI's predicting $2.35, but since that's an average, both could be right. I didn't want to take a chance on waiting til Tuesday, both re: price and weather could be worse.

Anyway, sniemic and DI thank you! Without these coupons and your advice on when is most likely best time to use them, I'd be spending a LOT more money on gas. :) And thanks also to everyone else who contributes.

Why is everyone attacking one another? We're all here for the same common purpose - to save a little money when fueling up. DI has done an awesome job on the board, as has many of you here. If anyone isn't grateful for their work, then they can post coupons themselves, or find them in their own time. No one gets paid for this, and no one should feel that they're entitled to have the best coupons handed to them without expressing a little gratitude.

FWIW, a point that I’m surprised that the mass of super savers never brought up (and also influenced my decision to suspend my coupon posting): The various coupons sites are not in sync. Each updates its coupons on a different schedule. That meant that sometimes I’d be posting coupons that had only a week or less until their expiration. Was it really worth the effort to post those?

The 'vast silent majority' is sure vindictive and angry! I would appreciate it if did not use me as a pawn to attack other members who volunteer their time to help other people save money at the pump.

sniemic, thank you for the advice. I hadn't thought of that, and have now printed out the coupon you recommended. Thank you also for posting coupons every month.

doneright2015, what have you and the rest of your "vast silent majority" done to contribute to this site and to help others save money? Do you post gas prices regularly? Whether it's posting coupons or prices, this site depends upon volunteers for the information posted here. Do you post prices regularly or provide any information that helps others? Or are y'all just spoiled, whining takers?

DI has volunteered countless hours helping the rest of us and does not deserve your attacks. He deserves your gratitude for the money he has already helped you to save.

For my purposes, the coupons posted by sniemic have taken the place of those that DI used to post. But if there was a different one you needed, if you had asked nicely, DI probably would have helped you to find the coupons you want. But nobody wants to help people who attack them.

doneright2015 - What are you talking about (especially for someone who just joined the site today)?

It took me about three hours to compile and post my coupon listing and to create the featured coupon pak. From the requests, it became apparent that most people were just looking for the 20¢/gal. off coupons (which I don't use since I don't buy from SA; everyone else that I know of limits coupons to 10¢/gal. off). I've got better things to do than spend time on something that no one uses. I certainly got no feedback that anyone found the other coupons useful. That's why I stopped.

I am more than willing to pass on my templates for each of the coupon sites, the master posting, and the instruction for creating the featured coupon pak (which are for a Mac OS X system) to someone who is willing to commit the time to continuing the postings.

For the record, the only posts that I've ever reported are those that were blatant commercial posts — and it's been years since I've seen any of those. I don't believe in censorship and, if I had my way, the "Ignore" function wouldn't exist.

Thanks sniemic for all you are doing in posting the coupons here.

There are countless numbers of people in the Twin Cities especially throughout all the online money-saving circles who only come to this site for this: the valuable coupons that can be found here. Of course, practically all the other topics are just useless with all the constant bickering amongst pretty much the same domineering members anyway. If it wasn't for this pervasive domineering behavior by those members certainly more people would get involved. I know through a lot of online chat with super savers, they certainly considered DI the most appreciated person at one time in this COUPONS topic. But after his childish tirade after somebody made a meaningless quip (probably in jest), this bully DI had to take the ball (or as he boasted, his templates in this case). His immature "na-na-na-na-na" actions then ruined the enjoyment of saving with coupons temporarily for everyone until you, sniemic, took over. DI talked about it not being worth his time for him to do the periodic coupons postings. But that is just a very, very poor excuse for his behavior especially considering his boasting of developing templates to do that anyway. Everybody definitely knows the riduculous countless number of hours that he really spends in his condescending manner of needing to control posting in almost ever topic that is contained here.

Sorry, but I had to step in and be the voice of the vast silent majority. Go ahead and have the post removed DI as we are sure you have most likely done in the past but it will definitely be saved to be passed on. Just calling it as it is clearly seen!

The ball (coupon templates) is in your court DI.

Considering the likelihood of another Monday spike discussed in the Gasoline price speculation thread, I recommend using the 15¢ off/gal. Sunday coupon (20 gal. max). See my previous post further down the page for the link.

I also encourage folks to save the coupon locally for future use since Monday spikes are becoming a weekly occurrence, and the coupon is good until April 10th, even if it gets yanked for Valpak early. Remember that handy 20¢ off/gal? It got pulled at the end of October, even though the coupon didn't expire until December 10th.

For the record, I assumed Philo_Gray was joking based on his posting style here.

Philo_Gray - On more than one occasion, you have posted something, which appears to have been a serious statement but, after much backlash, you post that you "forgot" to include the "LOL".

"But when dlr17 says he is offended by something I say, with a short 'snarky remark', ..."

Where did dlr17 ever say he was offended by your post? The only occurrence of "offend" that I can find is in **your** post. To me that would seem to indicate that you either don't understand or have misinterpreted dlr17's comments.

My take is that he was commenting on a not uncommon practice of yours — requesting/demanding that someone do something for you (with no indication that there will be any reciprocity — especially as evidenced by past actions).

I've personally experienced that both concerning your coupon "requests" and, back when I got a new laptop and upgraded Microsoft Office in the process, which broke the Twin Cities gasoline pricing factors graph.

goldieolds ' "it is the responsibility of the communicator to make his/her intent clear. ... The reader should not have to work at trying to figure out what you are saying and what you mean."

LOL, LOL, stop! your making me LOL. But what you said does make me laugh. I think of the man who said "Shovel Ready Jobs" and then later said "Shovel Ready Jobs really was not so shovel ready LOL" - SERIOUSLY. Their is someone that when they say "you can keep your Dr. PERIOD" you cannot take what they say seriously. One has to work so hard to understand what that man really means. (I think he meant "you can keep your Dr. if his name is Period) LOL

Now before you become offended goldiolds, when you say you are offended, I take you seriously, and I would apologize. But when dlr17 says he is offended by something I say, with a short "snarky remark", I become very suspect of his being offended. So goldiolds, I do apologize if I have offended you by my remark.

Philo, "LOL" and emoticons were invented b/c "hummer" (sic) and other emotions do not come through with written words. If/when you are joking, how hard is it to let people know? IMO it is the responsibility of the communicator to make his/her intent clear. I've believed this for a long, long time. The reader should not have to work at trying to figure out what you are saying and what you mean. And this was not an isolated experience.

dlr17 - "Was that snarky remark worth it?"

I do not know. I am assuming unlike you that sniemic, has a seance of humor and did not need me to post a LOL at the end of my comment. But for your benefit, I apologize to you and all individuals that are challenged buy a lack of personality or a lack of humor.

sniemic, let me know if I hurt your feelings. I am happy to make a public apology if you so want one. Lord knows I have had to do quite a lost of that for dlr17 in the past. Being unable to see the hummer at seeing a new coupon shortly after you just filled up and then see the link is funny to me. I am using your link for Sunday so THANK YOU sniemic. Hope we can be best of friends.

Also LOL. (apply the LOL where you think appropriately in this post so I do not offend someone...LOL

"were[sic] was your link an hour ago when I needed it."

1. Why are you blaming sniemic for not providing the link until after you needed it? You certainly sound ungrateful. Do you expect to have everything handed to you on a golden platter?

2. "an hour ago when I needed it" - sniemic's link to the coupons *was* posted more than an hour earlier than your snarky remark, according to the time stamps of the posts. Didn't you check the forum before you left?

3. Is it someone else's responsibility to post coupons for you? Have you ever posted links to coupons for others to use?

4. You could have looked up coupons on valpak.com yourself before you went to the gas station. The instructions have been posted here several times. If you have DI on ignore, though, you might not have seen them. Your loss, not ours.

5. Others, including sniemic, have recently posted 10¢ off/gal. coupons recently. You must have had one of those. How much gas did it take to fill your Jeep? 15 gallons? So you could have saved an extra 75¢ if you had done your research before you left. Was that snarky remark worth it?

Folks who want to use a coupon today to beat tomorrow's spike (or any Saturday/Sunday) are advised to use this one, courtesy of Valpak:

12¢ off/gal. on Saturday and 15¢ off/gal. on Sunday, 20 gal. max, expires 4/10/15

10¢ off/gal., 30 gal. max, expires 3/31/15
10¢ off/gal., 20 gal. max, 4-pack, expires 2/28/15
15¢ off/gal. w/ premium wash and 30¢ off/gal. w/ ultimate wash, 15 gal. max, expires 3/15/15

mnlakesman30 asks "anyone know if this is anyday and do they take printed coupons?"

Unfortunately, their website doesn't provide a definitive answer (or give an indication if it's only their Champlin store):

[quote]
FUEL COUPONS

BILL'S will honor any competitor's gas coupon if the following conditions are met:
• Coupons valid up to 10¢? off per gallon (Limit 25 gallons)
• Coupon dates must be valid at time of redemption
• Coupons not valid with any other promotion or discount
• No copies or facsimiles allowed

If you have any questions on this policy, please ask us.
[unquote]

So I'd suggest you contact them.

I have only seen the sign at Bill's Superette in Champlin on Mondays saying they double coupons for a total of up to 20 cents off per gallon. I think it is only on Mondays. Their policy used to be hard copy original coupons only, not photocopies or Internet printed copies. I'll try to remember to ask the next time I'm in there.

A mile west of there is a Holiday that will double coupons on Tuesdays, but you have to make sure you present the coupon and specifically ask to have it doubled before you pay. No later refunds. I missed getting one doubled there, so I now only buy at SA on Tuesdays, where they automatically double it without asking.

The 20¢ off/gal w/ inside purchase coupon appears officially gone. The coupons have finally be updated (with a 3/15/15 expiration) and contain 10¢ off/gal and 20¢ off/gal w/ car wash. I suspect this is because 20¢ off/gal is now more than 10% off (and 20% off at SA on Tuesdays for those who successfully doubled it), and the stations no longer found it profitable.

According to their website [http://superamerica.com/StoreLocator], the SA in Albertville is SA# 4899, which would indicate that it is a franchise. SA #s in the 47xx and 48xx range are all franchises, as far as I know. The cities of Apple Valley, Burnsville and Rosemount each have one franchised SA and each of their store numbers is in that range. All of the corporate stores I know about use a store number of 46xx or lower. As a franchise, they are probably within their rights to set their own coupon policy.

I know that the franchise in Apple Valley (SA# 4724) has a somewhat different coupon policy, but I'm not familiar with its details.

Also, the SA franchise in Burnsville (SA# 4840) has recently added a limitation to their coupon policy. See my post on Dec 10, 2014 1:10:18 AM for details.

griffey1024, that is interesting. Do you know if that means they won't double competitor's coupons, or that they won't double their own coupons, too, such as the ones printed from the rewards card terminal, including the 50 cents off per gallon? Do you know if that is a corporate store or a franchise?

To those asking for the 20¢/gal coupon with inside purchase, there has no new coupon posted to Valpak since October 30 (when the coupon disappeared). I continue to monitor regularly, so if/when a February coupon is posted, I'll share what I find.

sleepyhollowtoo - It would be pointless to call My-SA-Rewards, as the SA in Burnsville at 1884 East 134th St & Co Rd 11 is a franchise, not subject to SA corporate policies. I've run across other franchised SA's whose coupon policy also differs from SA Corporate. Lesson learned; I'll just know better going forward.

I used a 20¢/gallon off coupon at a Holiday station last week and they said they will only give 10¢/gallon. (Like Kwik Trip's policy, i'm guessing!) They did double it to 20¢/gallon for Tuesday's double coupon deal.

40¢/gallon would of been nicer! I used it to purchase diesel fuel, which was $3.759/gallon last week. The coupon stated it was for gasoline purchases. I didn't want to push the issue and lose the total use of any coupons!

I didn't do as well as Sleepyhollow did. I didn't see any SAs at $2.39 in the various areas I traveled in and looked at on the gas price map. There was one station 1¢/gal cheaper but for various reasons I didn't feel it was worth it. It would only have saved 12.5¢ total. I'd never been to that station before, so there was the potential for coupon hassle as well.

I had also passed a couple of stations, including a SA at 2.54/gal and many stations at $2.49.

What a bummer, Bungee.

I used the last 20¢ off with inside purchase coupon at an SA in Richfield Tue night, and received the full doubled amount. Although she insisted I pay at the pump or prepay, and I wanted to fill up, it worked out well. I used the fuel card to fill at the pump and went back in with the coupon and she gave me the $5.02 discount back in cash (for 12.565 gallons). The pump automatically took off the 6¢/gallon for using the fuel and rewards cards. It did that by resetting the price down to $2.42/gal from the posted $2.48 price. It was actually easier than the way I usually do it, and having to go back and figure all the discounts to see if it's right. Putting money on my fuel card was my inside purchase, but I don't know if she even looked at that requirement.

I, too, sure hope they bring back those 20 centers, but it is hard to feel too bad about it since not so long ago we were paying upwards of a dollar more per gallon.

I just thought of something. If Holiday still accepts expired coupons we could get some additional mileage out of it there. I just checked and sniemic's Nov. 8 link still has it. Holiday does not have the Tue coupon doubling policy, some individual stations will do it IF you ask, to meet SA's policy. But not all of them will.

Has anyone used that 20¢ one at Holiday and know if they enforce the inside purchase requirement?

Bungee: It's worth a call to SA Rewards @ 1-855-468-6972 Just to inquire and let them know. Things have been pretty quiet of late on double Tuesday with SA. I suppose they are getting more ornery as the price of gas falls, all tho, I believe they can make up their rules as they go. I haven't swung by the double Tuesday website to read current language in a while.

The SA in Burnsville at 1884 East 134th St & Co Rd 11
has a new twist (restriction) regarding coupons. They have capped the maximum redemption value at $4.00 total, no matter how many gallons or how many cents per gallon the coupon states. I used a doubled 20-center for 15 gallons so instead of the calculated discount of $6.00, I only received $4.00. The $2 loss took a big bite out of their low-for-this-area $2.439/gallon price. If I had known this ahead of time I would have gone elsewhere.

This change won't affect me so much after tomorrow, as the 20 cent coupon seems to be history and I usually don't buy more than 16 gallons during a fill.

EXCEPTION - They said this policy will not apply to coupons "purchased" with SA Rewards points which you print at their in store kiosk.

NOTE - This SA is a franchise so this change isn't something that will be happening at corporate stations (I hope).

Anyone have $0.20/gallon or more with an inside purchase coupons? Tomorrow is the last day for the one I have! I'm hopping that they updated the coupons since sniemic's last post of 10/30/14!

Here are a couple of coupons with updated expiration dates:
10¢ off/gal., 30 gal. max, expires 1/31/15
10¢ off/gal., 20 gal. max, 4-pack, expires 12/31/14
15¢ off/gal. w/ premium wash and 30¢ off/gal. w/ ultimate wash, 15 gal. max, expires 1/15/15
12¢ off/gal. on Saturday and 15¢ off/gal. on Sunday, 20 gal. max, expires 2/10/15

This information was included on DI's regular postings and is being copied as a reminder:

COMPETITOR’S COUPONS

All Kwik Trips and SAs and all corporate Holiday Stationstores accept competitor’s coupons. Other stations may also accept coupons. YMMV.

• Kwik Trip accepts coupons up to 10¢/gal. off.

• Corporate-owned Holiday Stationstores accept coupons up to 10¢/gal. off. Some Holidays may accept expired coupons.

• SA doubles the coupon value on Tuesday. SA’s coupon policy:

[quote]
Double Coupon Tuesdays
Even the competitors

Valid Jan 1, 2000 to Jan 1, 2020
Available at 190 Stations

Fuel Coupons (“Coupons”) must be original, no copied coupons will be accepted. No expired coupons will be accepted. Restrictions on the coupons will be followed, (Example: 5¢ off a gallon with a car wash purchase). Discount cards, similar to “show and save”, will not be honored as a physical coupon is required. Online coupons are accepted as long as they are legitimate coupons from a legitimate competitor, not expired, and we will honor the verbiage on the coupon. Unless otherwise specified on a legitimate competitor’s coupon, one coupon per transaction. We reserve sole discretion to determine legitimacy of a coupon and whether to honor it. Available at Participating stores.
