List any gas coupons here that you know of that anybody can easily pick up and where they can be used:

I'll list 2 I use off the web:
1) 7 cents off per gallon at Shoreview Diagnostic Center available on
valpak.com (Saint Paul area)
2) 4 cents off per gallon at freedomvalu.com

Obviously besides being accepted at these stations themselves, I have found that Rainbow, Kicks 66, and PDQ also accept these. Even Holiday has been accepting them lately! Wonder if the threat of having gas buddy legal experts check into Holiday's advertised policy of accepting ALL competitors had anything to do with it? :)

Hoping to see another 12-pack of 20¢ coupons (with inside purchase) created by someone. The previous 12-pack coupons are only good through 8/10. It is so great to have a month's worth of coupons all on one page. If I remember right, gh1986 created the previous 12-pack.

Many thanks, in advance!

Recyclebank used to have 10 cent per gallon coupons for Holiday but now they're "out of stock".

dlr17: Thanks for the link. Your experience with bringing in the whole coupon is that store's request only. I've used the 20 pack coupons at at least 6 different stations in the last two months. No one blinks or asks questions when I bring in only clipping from 20 pack. I do have a full copy in car just in case, but have not needed it. Which SA do you frequent, I'll try to stop there if I'm in the area and see if I can
soften them up.
Thought: What coupon are they honoring? A Circle K/BP or Val-Pak? Does the store care? They just bundle them up and send them to SA corp. to be verified and reimbursed I believe.

Here is a link to the latest valpak.com coupons for Circle K, ExxonMobil and BP. These are good through 9/10/2014. Note that the 20 cent per gallon coupon now only says "With any inside purchase" and does not require a $5.00 minimum purchase.

valpak coupon sheet for Circle K, ExxonMobil and BP

While others have compiled multiple copies of the 20 cent coupon onto one sheet, my experience with the SA I usually go to has been that they want to see what station(s) the coupons are good for and where they came from. I bring in the whole printed sheet and tell them which coupon I want to use. They then cut it out and give the rest of the sheet back to me. They even asked me once where I got the coupons, to which I replied, "valpak.com."

I wonder if the people at valpak.com wonder why they get so many inquiries for zip code 55108.

I second the Thanks!, gh1986! It's nice to only have to print one page to get enough coupons for the entire month, plus have some extras to share.

Regarding the 20¢ coupon requiring an inside purchase, it has worked fine using just the fuel card re-up as my inside purchase at the Lakeville SA on Cedar Ave at 161st Street.

I've had problems with Burnsville Lac Lavon SA in the past, and complained to corporate many times and asked for coupon refunds. But, I filled up with a 20-center and a few energy drinks ($5) tonight with no questions asked.

I think this is the 3rd (or more) week in a row that the gas prices spiked on Monday afternoon. I swear it has to be from so many people doubling coupons at SA / Holiday, etc. on Tuesdays. Anyways....thanks again to DI & all who have ever posted in regards to new coupons, links to coupons, etc.

Today I used my 50c off for 18+ gallons for one car & garage gas can & 20c off coupon for 11+ gallons for our 2nd car - doubled + 3c/reward card & 3c/fuel card to save over $24 this morning alone. Almost paid for my water bill this month in savings from today!

Using that fuel card just drives those points up exponentially. Crazy how many times I earn that 50c off coupon compared to when I didn't use the fuel card religiously.

In regards to inside purchase - maybe 1x did they not count the fuel card re-up as my inside purchase. Not sure how they can fight that but if they do I can grab a 59-69c 32 oz pop & it is still worth using the coupon.

The $5 inside purchase - that just means your total purchase has to be $5 or more - can't try to get less than $5 in gas alone. I've never been told I had to buy $5 in inside purchases in addition to the gas.

I frequent the SA's at (close to my home) 1624 Hastings Ave N in Newport/Cottage Grove (in fact the manager kept asking me where I got my 20c off coupons so one time I printed off a few extra & gave the coupons to her - think she'll ever not take my coupons now?? not a chance - they are great here - never had a problem morning/afternoon/evening/weekend) - plus by where I work at 1406 Yankee Doodle Rd in Eagan &/or 4200 Minnesota 13 in Burnsville - never had a problem at either of those 2 SA's either. Bummer about the Lac Lavon SA. Especially when a MGR won't accept the terms that SA corporate lists on their web site. I used to have that rule from the site printed off to show the MGR in case I had any issues - but the printed off rule states they do not have to accept any coupon they think may not be legit - pretty open to interpretation.

Anyways - thanks for the help DI & everyone else. I'll take my $55-70/mo savings off of these ridiculously high gas prices!!!

Have a good week everyone!

goldieolds asks "... do the points racked up on the rewards card expire?", referring to the SA rewards card.

I believe they do not expire as long as the account continues to be active either earning or redeeming points. I know that the points on the Speedy Rewards program (while Speedway owned SA) would expire if the card had not been used for six continuous months. It might make a difference whether the rewards card is registered or not. ;-)

To get an answer that counts, I would suggest calling SA Customer Service at 1-855-GOT-MYSA.

RE: inside purchase: You got a receipt and SA points for adding to your Fuel Card didn't everyone? How else would you define an inside purchase? Receipt= purchase and points = purchase, tough to refute that a purchase was made???

Kleen, I've been lucky, so far, and have been able to use adding money to my fuel card as my inside purchase. Sometime I've had to push a little and tell them that it has counted before (a true statement). But if that hadn't worked, I would have bought a coffee or tea or something. The way it is worded, they should not be requiring you to purchase $5 inside. They have it worded as two separate items, not as "a $5 minimum purchase inside". If that is what they meant, then that is what it should say. If they refused to count a smaller inside purchase, I'd either leave and go try another station, or just use a 10¢ coupon, depending on the particulars of the situation at the time. I'd at least try to argue it.

Last time (before last night) the first SA I went to would not accept the coupons because he couldn't read the expiration date. So he wouldn't have counted any of them on that sheet. I really was not happy about that, b/c I knew it was not expired, and I was very tired and just wanted to get gas and go home asap. But I trudged on to the next SA, less than a mile away, and that guy took it without question. It is really the luck of the draw of who is working. You might even try going at night when the manager isn't there. But if there is another SA within a reasonable distance of your travels, try that one next time.

I also go in before filling, to try to determine if they will accept the coupon, so I know if I have to move on to another station.

Once again I want to express my gratitude to all who have shared tips and info. As a result, I was able to save $6.40 using the coupon, fuel card and rewards card. That's significant! At first the young man forgot to double my coupon, but when I called his attention to it, he refigured it and gave me cash back. Not all would have done that, either, I don't think.

If I'd have had to buy $5 to get that $6.40 discount, it wouldn't have been worth it. I'd just have used a 10¢ instead. And even if it was worth it, there are not $5 worth of items inside that I'd want. I don't drink pop or eat the kind of food they sell in there.

Bungee (or anyone else) do the points racked up on the rewards card expire? I've been thinking that I'll have a nice cache of points to trade for discount sometime, but it never occurred to me until just now that they could have a limited shelf life.

I also have never been successful reloading my fuel card as an inside purchase, but I've also never been required to hit a $5 inside purchase either. If you are required to make a $5 purchase, as of earlier this month, SA has Pepsi 20-packs on sale for $4.99 with SA Rewards card through late August. That's a fairly good bargain (as far as gas station convenience stores go, anyway).

So what do you buy in-store worth $5.00? Don't you loose the benefit of saving $5.00, if you buy something you could buy cheaper some where else? I've never been able to say that I "loaded" up gas gift card and that counted for the $5.00 purchase. The SA (Store Mgr.) would not allow it.

Thanks stonesour025! I think this is the first one that I've been able to easily enlarge and print. I'd be curious to see feedback on peoples' usage experiences, especially since there is no mention of the station/brand on the coupons.

As a heads-up to south metro gas buddies, I would suggest not trying them or any other 20 cent coupons at SuperAmerica at 1221 E Co Rd 42 & Lac Lavon Dr, Burnsville. Their employees told me they've been told to not accept coupons larger than 10 cents/gallon. I no longer patronize that location although it is often among the lower prices in its area.

Philo_gray reports "Circle K is not working." Here are the steps DI posted a few months ago, which still work (instead of “More offers” you might see “More EXXON - ELK RIVER coupons”):

• Use this link: valpak.com for groceries in 55108 (55108 is basically in the center of the metro area and c-store coupons are in the grocery category).

• Enter “exxon” in the search box. (No need to use “ExxonMobil” which does not have an “e” at the end.)

• Click on the “More offers” link.

• Don’t be surprised when “Falcon Heights BP” comes up. Locally, Circle K stores sell BP-, Exxon-, and Mobil-branded fuel.

• Scroll to the bottom and click on “View Print Mailer”. (The print mailer has many more coupons than the few listed on the page.)

You know, there's nothing to prevent anyone from finding and printing their own coupons anytime they want. You don't need to be dependent on DI 'serving them up on a silver platter' for you.

I use this ClickNPrintSavings link all the time to find my own coupons. They're ten-centers but most of my fills are on Tuesday so that's 20 cents/gal.

DI will provide his post if and when he finds time. I doubt many of us would put in the three hours necessary to put together the coupon post he provides us on an ongoing basis. Thanks DI!

Philo_Gray - It takes me about three hours from start to finish to generate my coupon post (and that's using templates that I've built up over time).

Recent posts here seem to indicate the demand is for the Circle K 20¢/gal. off coupon, which I posted separate instructions on how to obtain. I'm examining if spending three hours creating that post is justified.

DI, it be nice if you did one of you coupon posting list. Most are gone or expired since your last list.

I actually just wrote up a spreadsheet (my gig I guess) & if I only count my gas purchases & not inside sales points that you earn, etc. - by getting 10pts/gallon purchased + 3c/off/gal for using SA reward card + 3c off/gal for using my fuel card + buying as much gas on Tuesdays as I can & using the 20c off/gal & the 50c off/gal when I earn it (roughly 7x/yr) & we receive 10 pts/$1 spent on the fuel card - I just figured that my family will save about $60/month / $720/year. We buy about 30 gallons/week & roughly 20 gallons on Tuesday - sometimes we run out & need to buy gas on a weekend. So what does $60/month cover for you? A dinner out? My water bill + a happy hour? Not too shabby....thanks all for your assistance.

Plus - are there any discounts I am missing? I'll take as many as I can get... :)

Have a good week all!

Bungee: I had the same issue at Lac Lavon. They seem to run their own ship, SA be damned. I even insisted they call the MGR. Same BS as you got. Is this a franchise or corp location. If corp, we should contact corp as a group with our complaint. I also printed out a kiosk coupon, but I had add'l time wasted because my pin didn't work, and I had to call in to get my pin changed, then fight with their crappy touch screen. I vowed NEVER to spend my money there again, BUT that mgr. should get their hands slapped.

I also save the image to a file and black and white laser print one copy after blowing it up a little for fine print, I am still able to print it in draft mode with good image quality, and print only the coupon portion of the image. We'll have to get together sometime and I'll 'splain further and see if I can help you out. I can see if you're printing color that it's too much ink used.

Bungee, I printed the page from my link below. It was quite legible, unlike last month's coupon (though I printed that one from the window that popped up on the Valpak page, not a separate window, or using the following screen copy method). You should be able to copy the screen with that coupon page and paste it into a Paint window, then crop it and print only the lower portion with the coupon you want, the small print at the bottom showing the source of the coupons, and a portion of the left side showing at least 1 of the stations it is good at.

I use a laser printer. Though the toner cartridges are about 3 times the price of an ink cartridge, they last about 30 times as long, so the cost per page is much lower. The numbers probably vary a lot depending on the brand and model of printer, but monochrome laser is usually much cheaper per page than color inkjet.

If you don't want to invest in a laser printer, you might want to check your printer driver to see if it has a draft or economy print mode to save on ink. It might print faster in that mode, too.

If you scroll down a couple pages the link will be staring you right in the face. It was posted by dlr17 on May 13, 2014 11:43:01 AM. I believe it has a July 10th expiration date.

Personally, I do not like this coupon for several reasons.
1. Your success will vary, depending on which SA you visit and maybe upon which side of the bed their manager woke up on that day. :-)
2. I'm not able to get a large enough copy of the coupon image to print, making it very difficult to read the coupon's fine print.
3. It takes a lot of ink and an entire sheet of paper to print one itsy bitsy usable coupon, unless you use the gas discount with car wash coupons as well.

A couple weeks ago, I had a cashier refuse the 20-center at
SA, 1221 E Co Rd 42 & Lac Lavon Dr, in Burnsville,
because their manager told them any 20-cent coupons are fake or altered or some BS like that. My solution: put the cashier on hold while I went to the rewards kiosk and redeemed 8,750 points for a 50 cents/gal coupon. Since they wouldn't allow me to save 40 cents/gal, I saved $1/gal instead, plus the rewards card and fuel card discounts.

"What is the link for the SA with the .20 off (with $5 inside purchase) coupons."

dlr17 posted the link earlier today: "Circle K, BP, Exxon-Mobil gas coupons, 10 to 20 cents off per gallon: http://www.valpak.com/content/img/envelope/3521044187_print.jpg"

The coupon's $5 minimum purchase is ambiguous as to whether it is inside or total. On the one hand, total purchase doesn't make sense. But on the other, there are unambiguous ways to says $5 minimum inside purchase. Good luck.

mnlakesman30 asks if "anyone had an issue @ SA with the .20 ($5 inside purchase) coupons on Tuesdays?"

I've used this coupon 3 times at the same SuperAmerica station, and it has been doubled to 40 cents/gal off each time with a $0.99 inside purchase. Friends have mine have been required to spend $5 inside, although reloading a fuel card (which can be used for an additional $0.03 off per gallon) has met this requirement.

Quoting from the SA web site in my periodic coupon posting (most recently on Mar 10, 2014 1:02:02 AM):

Discount cards, similar to “show and save”, will not be honored as a physical coupon is required.

Philo: I believe SA requires a physical coupon.

A thought occurred to me. I can use holiday coupons on my phone (and they scan the bar code from my phone). No physical coupon needed.

Any other station that let you do that?

Be nice if I could us the competitor phone coupons at SA.

Thanks everyone, I didn't find the circle k coupon but I will be getting a fuel card at Superamerica because I really only purchase gas on Tuesdays and only from superamerica anyway. Does Superamerica accept the 20 cent coupon for premium (ralphies elk river) when it says NON OXY? Isn't premium at superamerica oxygenated?
Edit: I just tried the 20 cent premium coupon at the superamerica 4001 lyndale s and they took it no problems

Thanks

I was pleasantly surprised this morning at Holiday on Hwy 61 & Co Rd F in White Bear Lake. Not only did they redeem my 'expired' 10¢/gal coupon, but they doubled it without me asking. And, they had dropped their gas price by 4¢/gallon early this morning.

FoodShark: +1 for what stonesour said. That's my tuesday formula. Review SA's Rewards program and "FUEL CARD" (this is labeled as gift card, but can ONLY be used to purchase fuel. They have a separate "GIFT" card that does not have the cents off discount feature, but it can purchase food, fuel, etc )
