List any gas coupons here that you know of that anybody can easily pick up and where they can be used:

I'll list 2 I use off the web:
1) 7 cents off per gallon at Shoreview Diagnostic Center available on
valpak.com (Saint Paul area)
2) 4 cents off per gallon at freedomvalu.com

Obviously besides being accepted at these stations themselves, I have found that Rainbow, Kicks 66, and PDQ also accept these. Even Holiday has been accepting them lately! Wonder if the threat of having gas buddy legal experts check into Holiday's advertised policy of accepting ALL competitors had anything to do with it? :)

Thanks StonesourO25.

I appreciate you doing this. This makes it easier to print and more importantly, for the coupon to be accepted.

The SA at Ewing and Lake (near Lake Calhoun) refused my $.20 off coupons tonight. She said her manager told her not to accept printed ones "like that". I said, "from the internet?". She said it had to have the top part that showed the email (sic) address.

Luckily, I'd taken it in and showed it to them before fueling; I almost didn't this time, b/c I haven't had any questions about them lately. then had to rush to another SA that was only 2¢ more, before it closed. These two station were the lowest ones in the general area that I would go. The first one was $2.87, the second was $2.89. The rest of the stations were $2.99-3.09

Fortunately, the second station accepted it, although she did refuse the first one b/c she said she couldn't read the expy date. I had another which she did accept. I think you could read the date on the first one, but since I had another I didn't want to protest to much, thankful that she accepted it at all. I carry the coupons around until I need them and it seems that the print gets a bit worn off. Maybe it has to do with having a laser printer.

Mon night I was out in the WBL/Mahtomedi area and had to get some gas before I ran out. Couldn't make it until Tue. The SA out there accepted one of the same coupons, with no question.

j-99 wonders "Are these [Holiday and Kwik Trip flyers the first Wednesday of each month] still there and the paper delivery has not put them in my paper or have they stopped."

The October 1 PiPress in Dakota County had both Kwik Trip and Circle K flyers. The latter was a bit puzzling because the closest Circle K is in Edina. I wonder if they screwed up and included Circle K, rather than Holiday?

j-99, we've been getting both Holiday and Kwik Trip flyers the first Wednesday of each month, including October. How far are you from those stores? We're within 5 miles of each. You might call the Star Tribune and ask if you are supposed to be getting them.

On the first Wednesday of the month, Kwik Trip and Holiday have had flyers in the Star Tribune. I did not have either flyer in the pst two months. Are these still there and the paper delivery has not put them in my paper or have they stopped.

I live in the west metro, Minnetonka.

StonesourO25,

Could you print a page of $0.20 coupons with an expiration date out till November or December? The last page you set up expired 10/10/14. Thank you for doing this service

If it has not been mentioned, there is a relatively new SuperAmerica in Lakeville off of Interstate 35 and 210th Street (Across the Freeway from the McStop).

They are currently giving a $0.10 per gallon discount with the SA Card plus any additional coupon or SA Prepaid card discounts.

As someone mentioned a while back, this is a grand opening special. It is unclear how long they will continue the $0.10 SA Card discount.

sleepyhollowtoo says "The $.20er in your link is with CAR WASH, not inside purchase only. Was there another coupon for another BP?"

If you follow the link to the coupon and then click the "View Print Mailer", you'll see one of the coupons on the sheet is 20 cents off w/ inside purchase. You can print it directly from this page, or right click and save/view the image.

Apologies for not seeing your comment until tonight.

When I pulled into the BP on Excelsior Blvd. and Natchez in St. Louis Park to get prices, I saw a sign in the window that said they double coupons on Tuesdays, with a 20¢/gal. maximum. I don't know what coupons they honor. If it is only their own, I don't know where they are available.

I wonder if "Terrific Tuesdays" coupon doubling is spreading?

Philo_Gray asks for the "15 cent off Sunday only coupon."

That's a coupon from Valpak that unfortunately I have not seen in a few months.

The best coupons out there appear to be these three:
- 10 cents off, 50 gal. max, expires 9/30/14
- 20 cents off w/ inside purchase, 20 gal. max, expires 11/10/14
- 15 cents off w/ premium wash, 15 gal. max; 30 cents off with ultimate wash, 15 gal. max, expires 10/15/14

AnotherOne, I'd say "you're welcome", but I think it is Spideyman that deserves the thanks. :)

I've found that it can depend a lot upon the individual cashier. Some are much pickier than others. I don't know if there is more of a crackdown now.

goldieolds, thanks for the 20 cent coupons.

BUT....

I had my local SA station deny them since they were "copies". When I explained that they were internet coupons, they would not budge.

When I asked them if they would deny all internet coupons, they said 'internet coupons need a web address on them'.

btw, I have NEVER had a problem with printed coupons at this station.

When I asked 'if there was a web address on the coupon sheet, then it would be good' they still would not give me a definitive yes.

SMH

Is SA clamping down? Or is this individual stations starting to reject coupons?

Anyone else have this problem?

Double check to make sure they double your coupons on Tuesday:

Today I went into the SA at 90th & Old Cedar Rd, it was a pre pay station and I went in to ask the clerk to turn the pump on for me. He did, and then I went out to pump my gas and when I went back in I presented my .10 cent coupon, the clerk calculated it all, took my credit card and then gave me a receipt to sign.

I noticed that although I pumped over 11 gallons I only got a $1.10 fuel coupon discount. I say to the kid: "I thought coupons were double on Tuesday", he replies "I did double it", then I pointed out that it was a .10 cent coupon and that I bought 11 gallons which should have got me $2.20 off and not $1.10.

He apologized, corrected it and gave me $1.10 cash out of the drawer.

Just goes to show that you have to carefully check your receipts.

sleepyhollowtoo asks "On a separate note, "mysarewards.com" now shows 11 stations giving a $.05 discount (including superior, WI? ) for using the rewards card. What's up with that?"

When the new SuperAmericas opened in Plymouth and Brooklyn Park within the past 12 months, the initial discount for the SA rewards card was 10c per gallon. In Plymouth, that was reduced to 5c per gallon after a few months. Interestingly, that discount is set corporately. When I asked a station manager about the 10c discount, even they did not know when it would be reduced.

DD: Just checked "mysarewards.com" and don't see any major changes to the verbiage. Obviously any station can reject anything they want. So list your problem stations so GasBuddys can avoid them.

Just an observation/my experience that I wanted to pass along:

Some SA stations have started "cracking down" on competitor's gas coupons and will only take a competitor's gas coupon if it has (at least) the logo of the station on it [just a straight 10¢/gal gas coupon, no inside purchase or car wash required]. I'm not sure what the SA corporate policy is on this, but I've had coupons rejected at a couple of different corporate franchisees recently because they didn't have a logo on it. I even showed the ValPak sheet I cut the coupon from at one SA and they still would not accept the coupon. :-(

Stone, thank you so much! A full page is great, more to share. Plus, with the October expiration, one page is good for two months.

Goldie, I keep one of the original flyers in my car with my coupons, it has the various stations on it, along with the several different coupons. I bring it in with me when I make my one trip into the station to do my purchase and pay for gas right afterward. That way I can show it to the cashier if they ask. It's happened a couple times when these coupons first started appearing, but not so much any more. Guess cashiers are getting familiar with them.

One time I forgot and skipped the inside purchase step. In the process of ringing up my gas purchase, the cashier caught it and said I didn't meet the coupon requirements. After I explained that my "inside purchase" was going to be a fuel card reload, I convinced the cashier to accept the doubled 20-center, complete the gas transaction and then do the reload afterward. They had no problem with that; not having to cancel the gas purchase, do my fuel card reload and then start over again with the gas purchase made it quicker and easier for everyone.

Stone, thanks. That's good news that they eliminated that confusing requirement.

I'd appreciate one with fewer coupons, but also some places won't accept them if they can't see what station it is for. And I have had them refuse to use it when it was too small to read the expiry date. I guess I can go back and find the link and the original, if necessary. It's probably pretty far down by now.

Five or six would be plenty for me.

Has anyone used the coupons without the station name and address on it at an SA?

The Exxon station removed the $5 minimum purchase verbiage on their newest coupon! Here's the 28-pack of 20-cent coupons, exp. 10/10/14. If this is too many, I can make one with less coupons, but I thought this would maximize the page.

Hoping to see another 12-pack of 20¢ coupons (with inside purchase) created by someone. The previous 12-pack coupons are only good through 8/10. It is so great to have a month's worth of coupons all on one page. If I remember right, gh1986 created the previous 12-pack.

Many thanks, in advance!

dlr17: Thanks for the link. Your experience with bringing in the whole coupon is that store's request only. I've used the 20 pack coupons at at least 6 different stations in the last two months. No one blinks or asks questions when I bring in only clipping from 20 pack. I do have a full copy in car just in case, but have not needed it. Which SA do you frequent, I'll try to stop there if I'm in the area and see if I can
soften them up.
Thought: What coupon are they honoring? A Circle K/BP or Val-Pak? Does the store care? They just bundle them up and send them to SA corp. to be verified and reimbursed I believe.

Here is a link to the latest valpak.com coupons for Circle K, ExxonMobil and BP. These are good through 9/10/2014. Note that the 20 cent per gallon coupon now only says "With any inside purchase" and does not require a $5.00 minimum purchase.

valpak coupon sheet for Circle K, ExxonMobil and BP

While others have compiled multiple copies of the 20 cent coupon onto one sheet, my experience with the SA I usually go to has been that they want to see what station(s) the coupons are good for and where they came from. I bring in the whole printed sheet and tell them which coupon I want to use. They then cut it out and give the rest of the sheet back to me. They even asked me once where I got the coupons, to which I replied, "valpak.com."

I wonder if the people at valpak.com wonder why they get so many inquiries for zip code 55108.

I second the Thanks!, gh1986! It's nice to only have to print one page to get enough coupons for the entire month, plus have some extras to share.

Regarding the 20¢ coupon requiring an inside purchase, it has worked fine using just the fuel card re-up as my inside purchase at the Lakeville SA on Cedar Ave at 161st Street.

I've had problems with Burnsville Lac Lavon SA in the past, and complained to corporate many times and asked for coupon refunds. But, I filled up with a 20-center and a few energy drinks ($5) tonight with no questions asked.

I think this is the 3rd (or more) week in a row that the gas prices spiked on Monday afternoon. I swear it has to be from so many people doubling coupons at SA / Holiday, etc. on Tuesdays. Anyways....thanks again to DI & all who have ever posted in regards to new coupons, links to coupons, etc.

Today I used my 50c off for 18+ gallons for one car & garage gas can & 20c off coupon for 11+ gallons for our 2nd car - doubled + 3c/reward card & 3c/fuel card to save over $24 this morning alone. Almost paid for my water bill this month in savings from today!

Using that fuel card just drives those points up exponentially. Crazy how many times I earn that 50c off coupon compared to when I didn't use the fuel card religiously.

In regards to inside purchase - maybe 1x did they not count the fuel card re-up as my inside purchase. Not sure how they can fight that but if they do I can grab a 59-69c 32 oz pop & it is still worth using the coupon.

The $5 inside purchase - that just means your total purchase has to be $5 or more - can't try to get less than $5 in gas alone. I've never been told I had to buy $5 in inside purchases in addition to the gas.

I frequent the SA's at (close to my home) 1624 Hastings Ave N in Newport/Cottage Grove (in fact the manager kept asking me where I got my 20c off coupons so one time I printed off a few extra & gave the coupons to her - think she'll ever not take my coupons now?? not a chance - they are great here - never had a problem morning/afternoon/evening/weekend) - plus by where I work at 1406 Yankee Doodle Rd in Eagan &/or 4200 Minnesota 13 in Burnsville - never had a problem at either of those 2 SA's either. Bummer about the Lac Lavon SA. Especially when a MGR won't accept the terms that SA corporate lists on their web site. I used to have that rule from the site printed off to show the MGR in case I had any issues - but the printed off rule states they do not have to accept any coupon they think may not be legit - pretty open to interpretation.

Anyways - thanks for the help DI & everyone else. I'll take my $55-70/mo savings off of these ridiculously high gas prices!!!

Have a good week everyone!

goldieolds asks "... do the points racked up on the rewards card expire?", referring to the SA rewards card.

I believe they do not expire as long as the account continues to be active either earning or redeeming points. I know that the points on the Speedy Rewards program (while Speedway owned SA) would expire if the card had not been used for six continuous months. It might make a difference whether the rewards card is registered or not. ;-)

To get an answer that counts, I would suggest calling SA Customer Service at 1-855-GOT-MYSA.

Kleen, I've been lucky, so far, and have been able to use adding money to my fuel card as my inside purchase. Sometime I've had to push a little and tell them that it has counted before (a true statement). But if that hadn't worked, I would have bought a coffee or tea or something. The way it is worded, they should not be requiring you to purchase $5 inside. They have it worded as two separate items, not as "a $5 minimum purchase inside". If that is what they meant, then that is what it should say. If they refused to count a smaller inside purchase, I'd either leave and go try another station, or just use a 10¢ coupon, depending on the particulars of the situation at the time. I'd at least try to argue it.

Last time (before last night) the first SA I went to would not accept the coupons because he couldn't read the expiration date. So he wouldn't have counted any of them on that sheet. I really was not happy about that, b/c I knew it was not expired, and I was very tired and just wanted to get gas and go home asap. But I trudged on to the next SA, less than a mile away, and that guy took it without question. It is really the luck of the draw of who is working. You might even try going at night when the manager isn't there. But if there is another SA within a reasonable distance of your travels, try that one next time.

I also go in before filling, to try to determine if they will accept the coupon, so I know if I have to move on to another station.

Once again I want to express my gratitude to all who have shared tips and info. As a result, I was able to save $6.40 using the coupon, fuel card and rewards card. That's significant! At first the young man forgot to double my coupon, but when I called his attention to it, he refigured it and gave me cash back. Not all would have done that, either, I don't think.

If I'd have had to buy $5 to get that $6.40 discount, it wouldn't have been worth it. I'd just have used a 10¢ instead. And even if it was worth it, there are not $5 worth of items inside that I'd want. I don't drink pop or eat the kind of food they sell in there.

Bungee (or anyone else) do the points racked up on the rewards card expire? I've been thinking that I'll have a nice cache of points to trade for discount sometime, but it never occurred to me until just now that they could have a limited shelf life.

I also have never been successful reloading my fuel card as an inside purchase, but I've also never been required to hit a $5 inside purchase either. If you are required to make a $5 purchase, as of earlier this month, SA has Pepsi 20-packs on sale for $4.99 with SA Rewards card through late August. That's a fairly good bargain (as far as gas station convenience stores go, anyway).

So what do you buy in-store worth $5.00? Don't you loose the benefit of saving $5.00, if you buy something you could buy cheaper some where else? I've never been able to say that I "loaded" up gas gift card and that counted for the $5.00 purchase. The SA (Store Mgr.) would not allow it.

Thanks stonesour025! I think this is the first one that I've been able to easily enlarge and print. I'd be curious to see feedback on peoples' usage experiences, especially since there is no mention of the station/brand on the coupons.

As a heads-up to south metro gas buddies, I would suggest not trying them or any other 20 cent coupons at SuperAmerica at 1221 E Co Rd 42 & Lac Lavon Dr, Burnsville. Their employees told me they've been told to not accept coupons larger than 10 cents/gallon. I no longer patronize that location although it is often among the lower prices in its area.
