With regard to the Blue color that highlights the LOCAL discussion area (mine being Hartford), since it is written to very infrequently, I wish that the local forum color were showing the color RED if there were not any new entries and GREEN if there were new entries since the INDIVIDUAL member had been there. I would want these colors only to appear locally on each individual member's forum when they log in and apply individually to each member.
(Not a generic red color for yesterday's entires into the local forum and not a simply green color for any entries made on the day the individual member logs into the GasBuddy site.)
Maybe this could be applied to all of the other forum topics. I wonder what other members might think of this idea.

This is my first time. The navigation menu was fairly easy.

A bit worse in some ways and a bit better in other ways. It's been too long since you switched so I can no longer remember exactly what changed and my reaction to it.

I like the blue, it has a more calming effect on a person. The current view is hard to navigate around. Can't wait for the new release!

I think either black or blue is fine. Ever thought of psychadelic? .. just a thought.. I would much rather have the non moving ads. They do not attract me to the product they are advertising, they annoy me. I like the icons by the top features. That seems to be where the color does the most for the page.

I agree with the others about the ads conflicting with the drop down bar. I hate getting ready to click on a bar and an ad opens up.

The only thing I am not liking right now is when I post my 5 prices at once from my list of favorites only one is shown posted but I have the points for the 5 posted prices.

I haven't been on the site for about a month, and this is quite a change for me. I'm not sure I like all the changes yet. However, like always, I'll read directions, peddle along through the changes, and do the best I can! I'm sure there are a few others who feel a whole lot different, but how else do we learn if we don't go through some changes throughout our lives??

As long as the pop-up ads don't prevent me from reaching a tab, this format is great.

The versions are all fine, but there is one thing causing me consternation. When I put the mouse over the Gas Price Maps item, the drop down menus are BEHIND the Ad. Hard to click on what you can't get to.

This is my 2nd day using this site. I have to answer not sure. But, I do like the blue color (it's my favorite).

This is my first time using this website. I'm still getting used to it. Using the very "Basic" features is easy, but I'm not sure as to what you define as a "Tool" which can be used by more experienced members. Which items are "Tools" and what "level" do I have to reach before I can access them ?

I tend to like the blue menus better, because it matches with the rest of the site better. In my opinion the black tends to look out of place, and isn't really suited with everything else. I do like the concept of the drop down selections, as it makes it possible to quickly link to more places on the site as opposed to the old setup.

I like the blue menu bars - more pleasant than the black. Could you use the yellow select arrows w/the blue bars?

I am still having problems logging in with Safari. FireFox remembers my log in info, Safari does not. (previous versions of this site were not problematic when using Safari.) Oh well, another reason to use FF as primary browser? More info :: Safari problems occur with OS X 10.4 and 10.5 (autofill doesn't queue up the correct log in info).

I think the old menu with the grey has the best contrast and easier to read. I like what SWAMPMOM said that you might try to elminate the old and dead stuff. An nonactive of 6 mos to a year might be helpful.

I like the new menu - both versions. The color choice COULD be blue with yellow arrows. Color does not make that much difference; functionality is most important. Some other sites use a dark background with dark print - those I cannot read. I like the clean background (white) that you use on this site. Please leave it WHITE and I will like that.....
One thing that happens (with FireFox) is that a new tab is opened for many choices. That makes it easy to go back and forth but then one must close the multiple tabs. (I don't know if that is YOUR setting or MY setting.)
All in all, change is good and I like the multiple choice 'pull-downs'. Keep up the good work. And thank you for your efforts!
