yup, good excuse for prices to go up. A sign of how much all politicans only try to line their pockets and not care about the voters and taxpayers until it's re-election time.

The state spent the fuel tax money for other things then the repair or replacement of roads and bridges? How could they? Now there could be 630 gasoline stations not selling fuel and without incomes AND no state and federal fuel taxes being collected either! Damned if you do, Dammed if you don't! Do what the article says: get your property tested immediately within the next 30 to 45 days and submit a claim to the state. That way the state is on the hook for anything that we'd call 'known contamination.' It will then be a pre-existing condition, exempt from the new law and a state liability! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!

"Pissed at the pump" says ship everything to China and India like they did with the steel and manufacturing industries and no more cars except electric. One of the reasons (other than B.O.'administration)is that we shipped everything out of the countries and now have to depend on other countries to supply what we had. Everything you buy in a store now say "Made in China). Cheap crap some made with lead. As far as Connecticut goes, it's time to get rid of the people stealing from the gas tax fund. Replace them. Do like Scranton Pa is doing - paying $7.50 minimum wage. They'll leave then put UNGreedy people in their place.

Great. Politicians pass a law, over 600 stations close, availability becomes scarce and - guess what - prices go up in CT. Brilliant!

So let Connecticut go without gasoline, let them be the 1st all electric vehicle state. Obummer would LOVE that, especially if they were all his Chevy Volt.

Mr. TreeHugger says: "Good Riddance to these "dirty" industries, send them all to China and India like the dirty steel and manufacturing industries. People will HAVE to drive electric vehicles when we drive all the gas stations out of business...and the world will be a better place" - Cue singing birds audio here.
