Regarding article on Enbridge Pipeline Shutdown: For anyone to think that the pipeline company is shutting down to raise prices is just not understanding this business. First off the pipeline company makes money moving oil or gas from one place to another. They would like to NEVER have to shut down the pipeline. Second, They do not make money even if the price of gas goes up due to the shutdown. They are repairing the lines because they believe they need to repair them. This will prevent future shutdowns due to leaks which are costly and hazardous. To think otherwise is just to not understand this business.
