I agree. We ahve a lot of "promising" technologies but none ever seem to come to market. We keep paying for research from taxpayer money but all we get is taxpayer subsidized ethanol.

As I've said for quite some time, it's only a matter of time before we see oil hit not only $140, but $170, $200, $220 and more. Gas will go not only to $4 a gallon but $5, $6, $8, $10, $14 and more. Bread will go up to $5 a loaf and beyond at some point soon enough, eggs will be the same and more for a dozen, clothes, shampoo, laundry detergent, and every thing else you need will be more. That part of the reason why those people overseas are protesting and rioting and I can't blame them one bit. It'll happen here eventually.
