Thanks again for the welding tips. I work with LOX and gaseous O2 and used to cut & weld with acetylene. Now I use propane mostly and the fittings are ALWAYS from a welding distributor.

Reunion is every five years near Tipp City in Bethel Twp/Miami County..we can see the Studebaker Homestead where the reunion is held from the house we own north of Dayton. That I had that clearance is not a secret. What I did for the military is...and I have never, nor will I ever, divulge what I did for the military. My kids do not even know everything. I think it is funny that so many will talk about the military, intelligence gathering, missions, etc and I will just say what they do not know is best for most of them. If they knew the entire truth of what goes on behind the scenes and in secret many would have their heads explode. All I can say is that my friends that are out there still today makes me thankful there are people still willing to do the job and make the sacrifices. Many have not come home to their families and some that have are not and will not ever be the same.

I understand. I was up over 425 and a dau. messed me up. I could've been up around 1100 or more. Anyway, can't believe I am where I am at. But, you are killing me in total points. For about my first 3 years with GB, I only used it just check on gas prices. I don't think I even posted any at all. So you and your son did quite well in the PWD! ... and thanks for the bonus info too ... I was a participant but never realized all the background details. At that same time I also built and raced a Soap Box Derby (one time), July 4th of '63. Looking back, I can't believe our small town (Sioux Falls, SD pop.~62,000) actually closed a portion of I-29 NW of town for the race on a major holiday!

Not too far from Lawrence AC...actually our land is North of the Kansas River between Eudora and De Soto with a Post Box at the De Soto Post Office...great bottom land farming in the area and a whole lot of game.
