Anyone have any Idea's as to why this Vehicle cuts out when Hot?.It has the infamous 3.4L with 100,000+ miles.I checked the fuel pressure at the rail and with key on engine off has 55 psi after cycle(2 seconds or so) it holds a steady 47 Psi.Starts and runs fine but does idle slightly rough..installed new plugs and wires(pain in the arse)had to tilt engine to the rear to change rear engine bank plugs.I checked on Alldata online at the local library and printed out some information but nothing really [pointed me precisely to my problem.I do have a scanner tester but it came out clean with no codes and the SES light works but doesn't come on ..system appears to be normal.I am leaning towards replacing the Igniter/Module assembly(wrecking yard $35)it comes with new coils. The only other possibility is either a crankshaft position sensor or possibly a coolant temp sensor..any suggestions anyone..HELP!!.

Sounds like the crankshaft positioning sensor. Had that happen to my Grand Prix two days after I bought it. It would stall out at any given time. And twice I had to try for 10 minutes to get it to restart.

Good luck
