Anyone having issues with their Fit, maintenance-wise?

I've seen much discussion about the infamous vibration noise from driving with the rear windows down, but I was wondering if anyone had anything else?

For example, I'm having some trouble with the starter lately. Sometimes the starter turns but the car just won't start, but if I switch it all the way off and restart, it catches immediately.

Also, anyone having strange brake noises?

Put the key in the on position for 2 seconds before cranking the motor, this will give the fuel pump time to build pressure.

Not saying you should "have to" but if it fires up in 1 crank you'll know it's related to the fuel pressure.

Did that, I used to work for the city special events office so that's the first place I look. Thanks anyway. Will probably be too tired from flying in and out in less than 14 hours anyway.

skoot1200-- sorry I'm pretty laid back so I won't know what the social scene is. Check out the city website. They would have the big events noted!

Mobortho, thanks for the input, I'm slighly behind you at just under 19,000miles with about 9 months of ownership. I'll take her into the dealership on the next service interval about the starter. The mechanics say they cannot duplicate the brake noise and attribute it to my first experience owning a car with ABS.

I'll be in Mobile (my hometown... everyone sing a little Jimmy) this weekend (flying in and renting a car). Anything fun going on Saturday night?

Zero problems with a 2007 Sport with 31,000 miles now.
