Oversea play? Korea maybe? They have a team called the Sakers (no typo) so that would remind him of both LAkers and the Sacramento team.

The NBA needs to come down on Ron Artest, and several other thugs in the League. Fining them doesn't seem to do any good. Sit them down for several games, maybe a lot more than several.

He used his "I'm so sorry" speech and the Maloofs believed him. He even cried(sob sister touch) and played last night. You have to kill someone in cold blood, be caught with the knife in your hands standing over the victim before the NBA/ NFL would do anything. But, then again, you could always cry and apologize and play the next night.

Pro athletes get 8000 chances and "Get Out Of Jail Free" cards. Artest will be back again and again and again.

Let's hope this goon is gone for good! He has dragged down enough teams.

...correction:
The Kings are 28-32 after beating (appropriately) the Pacers Tuesday night and are 1 game behind the Clippers for the 8th seed in the Western Conference playoffs.
Hopefully, they'll keep winning without Artest and won't let him back in the locker room ever again.

I wish it were the end, but he's still only 27. If Sac. releases him, some desparate team will pick him up next year.
Sac-town rolled the dice with him and it hasn't worked out. 5 games under .500 (before last night) and out of a playoff spot.
When Da Bulls traded him, I was asking "Huh?" at the time. I guess they knew back then what we all know now.

you got that one right, Zim, a violent thug! He should just concentrate on his rap career and not bother playing in the NBA. Just not a good role model for all the kids to see.

Probably not the end, but isn't it so predictable.
