How long before cliffisher will be freed and allowed to join his fellow posters in the land of gasbuddy.com? I am a firm believer in law and order but I also believe in fairness and pardons. Can his case be reviewed? My vote is for a pardon!

I think it is unfair that some posters that have posted coptrighted material have been called down, and even punished or banned. Others have been doing it for months, and nothing ever gets done about it.

How do I UNSUBSCRIBE to a topic. There are numerous topics I no longer have an interest in participating. I've never found a way to unsubscribe.

Can someone explain to me why some discussions are posted as "Topic is locked"? Do I need to start a new topic on similar issues, or is the discussion off-limits to everyone? Thanks.

Ref: Bumping old, inactive topics. If a topic has been dead for two months or more, please do not post to it.

Why not remove them if we can't respond to them. I've read many locked items that I would like to respond to.

I'm sure there are some now thinking, "if you know that you can't respond to them why are you reading them?" To them I would say, "why have posts that can't be responed to?"

Darn, I was too late to edit to say that every topic with a "?" after it is essentially a poll, which automatically belongs in JFF or some new forum where people are polled.

Can you start a category of "Poll:"?

As a starter, EVERY SINGLE topic with "?" after its listed topic should be relegated to JFF.

I'll stop there.

All I can say is after reading some of the mindless posts in the 'Off Topic' forum is "I can =SEE= a huge age-difference or DRUGS". It may be a combination of both, HARD to tell over a computer! It sure does ONE thing for me though! It makes me totally THANKFUL that in my 50 years, I have *NEVER* even put a prescription pain-killer into my body, since I'd rather live with PAIN than risk possible any sort of "addiction" to _any_ chemical. And the result is my brain & memory has always been 10x better than my mother's since I was 3 yrs old. My 4 younger sisters Can _NOT_ make the same claim!! You can probably guess what they ALL had to almost die from before "I Think they Finally" learned.

Just pick 3-4 topics and read 10-20 posts in each of those chosen 3-4 topics, and depending on your frame of mind & age and drug affiliation, you just MAY see _why_ I made the comments I made.

As far as "Moderating" goes, I have to give you guys a 10+ just for allowing people _who feel a NEED to_ let their SILLY side out in the open!
Maybe I missed that!! Perhaps it's a 'contest' to see who can ACT(?) the silliest! If so, you guys get THUMBS UP for "classifying" topics properly!
Keep Up The GREAT Work!!!

I think the moderators are professional and take action as needed.
This allows me to continue checking in on the gasbuddy website (s) as I travel.

I visit the local site(s) often when I travel to CO.,FLA, LA, SC, NV, and other states where I am renting a car. I especially like the option of finding "Costco", so I can fill up as well as shop.

I don't understand your rules. I post comments on news articles I read on your website and get an email that I should not post comments for points, that my opinions of a news article is interrupting a discussion. I don't understand. Aren't we supposed to post our comments on the article read?

I HATE the new change - what good does it do to have favorite forums when I can't even choose the topic? All I get is a blank space on the drop down menu that won't let me choose anything except the main heading. Thank you for making this a totally frustrating experience.

I have seen the complaints about the new forum format. It's just the change. I think it is great - clean, friendly, inviting - love seeing the avatars. LET'S ADVERTISE THE FORUMS SO NEWBIES CAN FIND THEM AND NOT BE AFRAID!

.
And as far as the moderating goes---thank you for always being close by!

Actually I hate to admit this, but I'm actually a 12 year old kid who uses this website because I want to lower gas prices myself, and check the area's high and low gas prices. I SWEAR this is the truth.

I'm not trying to open a can of worms saying this....but aren't we all adults? do we really have to "tattle" on people as if we're in kindergarten from an online website? I don't know. It just seems silly. But then again, I don't know exactly how bad some things have been. So perhaps I don't have any right to talk. I just like to think that people can be mature enough not to take some things online too seriously. But I will digress...

Just a little to P.C. for the overall benefit, and as far as bumping old threads, if someone wants to do it,..so be it. Nobody is forced to read these threads.

Everything is going ok at present. Do us all a favor and keep after the political's on the sites. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, without being called all sorts of names. I enjoy a wide spectrum of opinions, and YOU GUYS are the only ones that can protect all of our FREE SPEECH. Thx JT
