The police got the car and perpetrator within 15 minutes. The lesson: never leave your car running or the keys in it.

That car completely rusted and one day the frame broke from rust and that was the end.

I did get a pair of binoculars from a would-be car thief before Woke up to noise, chased the pair with my hockey stick. Spotter panicked and dropped the binoculars as they fled in their car. Came ahead as the binoculars were much more expensive than my deductible. Incidentally, the binoculars were focused perfectly on my bedroom window.

The Sheriff'S Department followed them, watched the buy, then bEgan a chase and the darn kids drove it down a railroad track to try and get away and ... totalled the car!
