Everyone agrees we really can't hit hard enough to make a difference in the wallet of these gas companies really. It isn't supply and demand. The supply is definitely there. The oil owners control the amount so they can make more money. It is a no win situation if you try to hit a money bag like that. Instead make a statement that can disrupt the common life but not endanger our economy.
Buy the gas. Buy our goods. Invest money into our economy. Every time you listen to the media's scary stories about the economy and buy into those very stories you will make the economy worse. Keeping the flow of money healthy in the U.S. is the only thing to keep the U.S. going. Positive energy results in positive energy.
Want to make a kick butt statement? Make rally signs. One for yourself and a few to hand out. Pick days to rally. Pick effective times. Want to make the evening news. Here is one example. If lots of people decide to stop on the sides of roads, highways, etc. on the way home and flash the protest signs this will add to additional slowing. Handing signs out to others while they wait in traffic is even better. They just may get out and join you. Hand out brochures. Band together people. Another example. Do the same thing in the evenings on sidewalks of gas stations. On the weekends at family events like sports, fairs, etc. Pick unusual outlandish ways to make peaceful and thoughtful stirring scenes.
Just don't screw with the economy. The more hysteria you bring the more the prices will rise. The more you educate the more you will make a difference. A lot of people may not get it but those who really vote and think will.
