BDogg, what drove and motivated me to post?
Well, I've never missed a day of posting since I joined. That was because I am/was always on the computer checking gas prices for my hubby. He was on the road quite a bit as an expediter and put over 300,000 miles on his Express in less than three years. Always looking for the best prices across the USA. He's totally disabled now, but I still post at GB for the benefit of others. Plus, I have made many, many friends here, you wouldn't believe the kindness and generosity of others.
For the record, I wasn't cutting you down or belittling. It's just that this forum is for how you found GB. This question would be better suited in a different forum where others will see it.

Thanks, GasBuddy, that's exactly what I meant. People are posting stuff in the wrong forums all the time and it takes away from that forum. Just yesterday, some clown posted in the "In Memoriam" forum about the "death of his wallet at the gas pumps" or something really STUPID like that. That forum is for departed GBs, not for his idiot wallet.
So that is why I posted.

My point would be that a long time member should realize that this forum is about how members found Gas Buddy, and that this topic is in the wrong category. I guess the point is, as CelticHeart alluded to, pay attention to what you're posting.

CelticHeart you have become a champion author, have 100,000+ post, over 2.7 million points & almost 8yrs. Those are accomplishments that new users can strive for and someone with your knowledge might be able to be a spearhead for motivating new GasBuddies, not tearing them down or belittling them. What drove you to continue to post and be as motivated as you are?
