Really? I always thought that the price on the marquee was the price they were charging to my credit card!! Damn! Now I have to check that, too?

Not sure what you are talking about, but I noticed the dual price stations here are gradually putting in electronic signs. And now it has a small horizontal space that says something about cash pricing. It is less obvious than that square little sign off to the side that is hard to read but noticeable and I know what it says even if I can't read it.

Can not say I have ever been confused about the price at the pump. Even without reading the "fine print".

I'm assuming you're talking about the price on the sign, and if it's a cash price, it'll have CASH written next to it? If not, then I don't know what you're talking about. Please explain better, thanks.

What misleading "gas pricss" are you talking about?

What fine print in the corner are you talking about?

You mean there is a "not real price" that you won't know about until "your parked" at the pump?

Sorry, but can you better explain what you're talking about, or asking about?

Good Morning cindysat2000. Your Topic needs some clarification as one can only guess what you are asking. In the past several weeks where I live a new trend has hit the market. Many gas stations have put up electronic pricing boards with only regular and deisel prices on them. Some post the cash and credit prices and some do not. I now have to drive up to the pumps to get an accurate price for Gas Buddy as the range of pricing is between grades varies from $.04 to $.17 a gallon. If you pay cash and use regular as OceanArcher has stated there is "no confusion", but there is if you use a credit card or in one station buy non-ethanol gasoline which is not posted at all except on the pump. I have noticed when I post the prices, some GBs are posting the cash price of just two grades which indicates they are drive-by posters. All prices shown on the Interstate are cash prices in my area. I've also noticed the two near my home are changing prices two or even three times a day. They may be using the Gas Buddy website to view the competition's prices. I've sent a message to the moderators regarding this sudden change and documented some of the misquoted prices. It has the potential of making this website inaccurate or incomplete. Is this what you are posting about?

I find the pricing is accurate - that's why I pay cash --> no confusion
